The Student Life Initiative focuses on building school spirit on campus. They plan events like Spirit Week, MAGIC, and Homecoming, along with smaller ongoing activities like seasonal decorations and candy grams. They act as a link between students and faculty, polling and gathering concerns about classes and advocating for changes that create a more equitable learning experience for everyone.<\/span><\/p>\n Leadership: Prisha Vora & Evan Wang<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”Sustainability Efforts and Awareness (SEA) Initiative” _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” open=”off”]<\/p>\n The Student Sustainability Initiative tackles environmental issues while strengthening community bonds. They regularly work to promote recycling and create systems for sharing resources across grade levels. They also advocate for better recognition of maintenance staff\u2014since those staff members are essential to keeping the campus clean, supporting them is central to the initiative\u2019s mission.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Leadership: Konner Jiang and Hudson Machuca\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”Innovation Initiative” _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” open=”on”]<\/p>\n The Innovation Initiative gives students a voice in how technology is used on campus. They collect student feedback and pass it along to faculty, helping to shape decisions about digital tools and infrastructure. Additionally, they publish <\/span>The Informant<\/span><\/i>, the student government\u2019s official news publication, to keep the student body informed of government decisions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Leadership: Noah Fisher & Julian Dreyer<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”Food Services Initiative” open=”off” _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\n The Food Services Initiative aims to elevate the daily dining experience. By collecting student feedback, they push for a wider variety of daily menu options.
