In accordance with the mission statement, student government members collaborate with the administration and faculty to work on initiatives and design grade and school-wide events.<\/span><\/p>\n

Student government meets weekly to make collective progress on initiatives and events. You can find brief summary meetings on the “Initiatives” page to catch up on the details of the meetings. This information is available to the school to ensure that the student body is aware of the constant development of student government work to improve the D-E experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s Happening Right Now?<\/h1>\r\nAs we all know, the D-E Student Government is always working hard to hear the Student Body\u2019s opinion and apply it to the initiatives that Student Government works on. Although we, Student Government, strive to accomplish all that we can, the students must understand that establishing progress is difficult and requires a lot of time. Here, on the Informant, students and teachers will see the various initiatives that are being accomplished and the events that are being hosted by Student Government. The Informant will be the students and teachers\u2019 guide and bridge to the Student Government.
