Hello delegates! Welcome to DEMUN 2024! My name is Anna Kira Poneros and I am currently a senior at Dwight-Englewood School. After participating in our MUN club for over three years, I have the incredible opportunity to serve as your Secretary-General for DEMUN 2024. I am tremendously excited to be chairing the Harry Potter Crisis and can ensure that this committee will be filled with magical, suspenseful, and exciting twists and turns that will force you to think on your feet. Planning this inter-school MUN conference has been a truly enriching experience, and I can’t wait to see the invaluable contributions from all delegates!

Hello everyone! I am Max, and I will be one of your Secretaries-General of DEMUN 2024. I am so excited to be part of creating an entertaining, educational, and substantive experience for all delegates. I am a junior, and have been involved in Model UN since freshman year. For this conference, I will be a Chair for the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs. It has always been a goal of mine to facilitate an inter-school Model UN conference and on behalf of the entire secretariat, we are so excited to welcome you to our campus. See you all soon!

Hello Delegates, my name is Nicky Reich, and I am thrilled to be the Under Secretary-General of Model United Nations at Dwight-Englewood this year. I started my Model UN career at PMUNC in my sophomore year, and since the very first time I gave a speech, I was captivated, and sadly addicted to Model UN. My passion has thankfully carried me far away from GA’s, and I am so excited to be the Crisis Director and creator of DEMUN’s Harry Potter themed Crisis this year. I am so excited for all of you to participate in this year’s Harry Potter crisis committee, and I look forward to seeing all of your creativity and hard work this fall!

My name is Gabriel Rhodes, I am a junior at Dwight-Englewood, and this year I have the privilege of serving as the Dwight-Englewood Model United Nations Under Secretary-General. I have a profound interest in international relations and hope to pursue future education in the field of political science. I have worked on our DEMUN UNOOSA General Assembly committee to make it a fun and fruitful experience for everybody! Hi everyone! My name is Hayley Fuld, and I’m in 11th grade at Dwight-Englewood. This is my third year doing Model United Nations and my first year serving as part of the secretariat. I’m extremely proud of all of our hard work in putting together DEMUN (especially for Harry Potter, which I’m co-chairing)! It’s been an honor to be part of such an incredible team. Hello everyone! My name is Ben Blitz and I am in 11th grade at Dwight-Englewood. I am the Treasurer of Model United Nations and a co-chair of the Bandung Conference Specialized Committee at DEMUN. Since my freshman year, I have developed an interest in international relations, and I hope to share my passion with all of you.
