Meet the Team
We are so excited to host Dwight Englewood’s fourth in-person Model United Nations Conference! Our Secretariat has worked diligently over the past year to bring you this challenging, substantive, and enjoyable event. DEMUN will take place in the Fall. Contact us at demun@d-e.org.

Asha Harker
Secretary-General
Hello Everyone! My name is Asha (‘27) and I’m honored to be serving as Secretary-General this year. During D-EMUN, I will have the privilege of being a Crisis Director. I’m currently a senior and I’ve been doing MUN since freshman year, so I am very excited to share that passion with all of you. I look forward to seeing all of the creative speeches and solutions you will bring forth in committee. The Secretariat and I have had so much fun planning this conference, and, on behalf of everyone, we are so excited to have you on campus soon! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Prisha Vora
Secretary-General
Hey everyone! My name is Prisha, and I’m a senior. It is a privilege to serve as your Secretary-General and I will be chairing the General Assembly (ECOFIN). Model UN has been one of the most meaningful parts of my high school experience because it has challenged me to think critically, collaborate with others, and engage with complex global issues from different perspectives. Outside of MUN, I enjoy exploring topics related to law, international affairs, and public policy. One of my favorite parts of every conference is seeing delegates bring creativity and passion to debate while working together to develop solutions. I am looking forward to meeting all of you, hearing your ideas, and helping make this conference a memorable experience. See you at D-EMUN!

Nicholas Bevilacqua
Under Secretary-General
Hello everyone! I am Nick, a current senior, and I am honored to serve as Under Secretary-General this year. I will be stepping into the role of Crisis Director during D-EMUN, so I am looking forward to seeing how you all navigate the chaos we have in store. MUN has been a large part of my high school experience. I remember attending this very conference three years ago as a delegate, so it’s been awesome to watch this conference come together behind the scenes. I can’t wait to see the ideas everyone brings to the table, and most of all, I hope everyone has a fun experience. Please feel free to come to me with any questions or concerns. I can’t wait for the conference!

Liam Silvestri
Under Secretary-General
Hey everyone! I’m Liam, and I’m a senior currently serving as an Under-Secretary General for Dwight-Englewood Model UN this year. I will be one of your chairs for our Specialized Committee: Warring States Period. There are a lot of different factions and motives at play in this committee, and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table! This will be my fourth year doing Model UN, and joining the club has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in high school. It has become a great way to meet new people, a way to get out of my comfort zone and to improve my confidence in public speaking. If you’re new to Model UN, I hope this committee helps you grow as a delegate. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to see me during break times in committee or by raising a point of inquiry. Thank you and I can’t wait to see you all!

Alex Rhee
Secretary
Hi everyone! My name is Alex (‘28), and I have the honor of serving this year as both Secretary, and your chair for the 2026 Specialized Committee: The Warring States Period. I’ve been doing Model UN since my freshman year, and can say with certainty the incredible role this club and its community has played in my high school career. That being said, DEMUN is an environment that encourages growth and flexibility! So, whether your strengths lie in diplomacy, public speaking, leadership—or even if you’re still finding out where you land on the spectrum—I’m so excited to watch you all evolve and flourish during your time here. I look forward to seeing your creativity, wits, and passion come through in your speeches and ideas. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns, and good luck!

Joseph Lee
Treasurer
Hello everyone! My name is Joseph, and I’m thrilled to be serving as your chair for the Star Wars: Intergalactic Council Crisis at D-EMUN 2026. I’m currently a junior, and I’ve been a part of Model UN for all three years of my high school career. During that time, I’ve truly grown to love everything that MUN has to offer. Whether you’re a new or experienced delegate, D-EMUN will be a place where you’ll have fun, meet new people, and grow as a delegate. Star Wars is one of my favorite film franchises of all time, so I’m excited to see the creative solutions that you come up with for our Crisis. Best of luck!
